Prompt library and prompt optimization

Apply and customize a prompt, or optimize the current draft with an explicitly selected model.

Use the prompt library

The prompt tool also offers personal materials and enabled external sources. External sources are online read-only catalogs: Apply fills a draft; explicitly copy into personal materials for long-term keeping. See External prompt sources for connection, copying, and disabling.

  1. Open it from chat, generation settings, or an editable card prompt. System prompts are also browsable in Asset Library.
  2. Search by category, tags, or keywords and read full details rather than judge by the title.
  3. Apply to the current input or draft and customize subject, scene, and example values. Parenthesized examples can stay or be replaced.
  4. Applying a prompt neither uploads references nor generates. Check inputs and settings before submitting.

Optimize a prompt

Optimization rewrites the prompt using the chat model you explicitly select, under current access and charging rules. Inspect the suggestion before applying.

Applying in Cards updates only that record's unsent prompt. Submitted or read-only records cannot rewrite historical prompts through optimization, but can be enlarged for reading.

Optimization does not generate an image or guarantee instruction adherence. Check important constraints and reference roles yourself.

Language and text limits

  • An interface language does not guarantee published system-prompt content in that language. An unpublished language has an empty catalog rather than substituted content.
  • Prompt and negative prompt have separate limits. Follow their fields and errors; oversized text is not silently truncated.
  • Use Enlarge to read or edit long text. Completed-result prompts can also be enlarged for reading.
