AI chat and image attachments

Send a chat turn

1. Create or open an AI chat session and choose an available chat model.
2. Enter a question or task. For image analysis, add attachments, confirm image-input support, and wait for uploads to finish.
3. Enable available web search or choose a thinking level as needed. A different layout does not unlock unsupported options.
4. After sending, approved content gradually appears in the same response. Scrolling upward to read prevents forced scrolling back down; use the down arrow to see the latest content.

Edit an earlier question and send again

Choose Edit on your own message. Its text becomes an inline field with Cancel and Send. Only text is edited; the original attachments stay unchanged. Editing is unavailable during generation.

Send appends a new question and answer and applies moderation and charging to that new turn. It does not overwrite the old question, answer, favorites, or inspiration records.

The edited submission reuses the original message's images and the model, web-search, and thinking settings currently selected in the bottom composer. That composer stays in place; its unsent text and attachments are neither replaced nor cleared by inline editing. Switching sessions or refreshing exits unsent editing.

Read, favorite, and collect

• An ordinary generation error retains already approved partial text and shows an error. The response is not necessarily complete. A content-safety block instead clears that turn's answer and thinking.
• A disconnected browser does not mean generation stopped. Reconnect and refresh to see saved results; do not resend merely to reconnect. Existing charging rules apply rather than an automatic refund for a browser disconnection.
• You can draft another question during generation. Completion does not clear that new draft. An unfinished response cannot yet be favorited or collected as a full chat turn.
• Sources and thinking are available only when actually produced by the request; not every model supplies them.
• Favorites return to the source position. Inspiration collection keeps the input-and-answer turn together. Adjust the temporary selection before submitting it.
• Switching sessions or leaving the view discards an unsubmitted collection selection. Temporary selection is not successful collection.
• Removing a successfully collected turn from the message or Inspiration Library follows the same irreversible rule. It does not delete the original messages. Recently removed records are view-only for seven days; collect again from a still-accessible, eligible source turn.
• Model answers may be wrong. Check important facts against reliable sources.
