Organize and keep content

Favorites: save, view, and return to sources

A star saves a return link. Removing it does not delete the source, and a favorite is not an independent backup.

Save and view

  1. Click the star on an eligible message, canvas object, or card record and wait for success. Opening More is not saving.
  2. Find it in Favorites by source or search and open a read-only preview. A card preview is not a new generating workspace.
  3. Use Locate to continue in the original session or canvas; source access is still required.
  4. Remove the star when no longer needed. This removes the relationship, not the image, message, or generation.

Favorites keep a return link

ReturnLocate and continue at source
Removing a favorite removes the link, not its source. It cannot restore inaccessible content.

Preview is not the original workspace

Favorite cards are for reading. Changing preview panels, collapse, or layout does not modify the real record or grant editing/generation access.

Editing after locating the formal source affects that workspace. Deletion and regeneration still follow source rules.

Why a favorite can be unavailable

  • A deleted source follows its recovery rules; favorites cannot bypass deletion or restore it.
  • Disabled or expired sharing and changed permissions are not extended by favorites. Check with the owner.
  • A permanently deleted or inaccessible source is not backed up by its favorite. Download important images first.
  • Favorites store location, not copied text or images, and do not save another original per star.
